Together with Dr. Mario Tobias, CEO of Messe Berlin, and David Ruetz, Senior Vice President of Messe Berlin, they kicked off the show with a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony, accompanied by the rhythmic beats of a traditional lion dance. The energy was palpable as ITB Asia 2024 officially opened its doors to an excited crowd of exhibitors, speakers, and business professionals.

Exhibitors from Asia and Oceania make up 56% of the show, with Europe, Africa, the Americas, and the Middle East contributing the remaining 44%. The diversity in representation reflects the increasing demand for travel and tourism offerings across all corners of the world.
